Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom advent calendar boxes?

Our MOQ starts at 100 units. Rigid offset-printed boxes get cheaper per unit from 500+; simpler structures (book-style, flip-door) sit at the low end, multi-drawer cabinets and shaped boxes need higher volumes to amortize tooling.

How long does sampling take?

A hand-made or digital prototype takes 7–10 days after artwork approval. We recommend budgeting one revision round: most brands finalize on the second sample.

What is the production lead time for 5,000–10,000 units?

Typically 25–35 days after sample approval, plus shipping. For Christmas retail, approve samples by August to ship comfortably in October.

Do the calendars arrive filled with products, or empty?

Empty. We manufacture the custom printed box only; your team or fulfilment partner fills it with your products, samples or vouchers. This keeps you in control of contents, expiry dates and market-specific assortments. Tell us the product dimensions and we size every compartment and insert to fit them exactly.

Can each calendar carry a personalised message or the recipient's name?

Yes. A printed greeting card or message insert is the simplest option and works at any volume. Variable names can be printed on sleeves or cards during production for larger runs. Most corporate clients combine one shared box design with individually printed inserts, which keeps tooling costs unchanged.

Can you deliver to several offices or a fulfilment centre instead of one address?

Yes. Production ships as export cartons to one central warehouse, your fulfilment centre, or split across several office addresses in the EU, UK or US. Send the address list and quantities per destination with your order; packing lists are prepared per shipment so receiving teams can check contents quickly.

When should a company order corporate Christmas calendars?

Start in June or July. Sampling takes 7–10 days, mass production 25–35 days after approval, and sea freight needs several more weeks. Approving your sample by the end of August keeps delivery comfortably in October, leaving November for filling and internal distribution before December gifting begins.

We only need a small run for executives and key clients. Is that possible?

Yes, within limits. The minimum is 100 units for most structures, which covers most corporate programmes once clients, partners and offices are counted. Simpler book-style or flip-door designs are the most economical at this volume. If your list is shorter, ask us which structures stay viable before designing.

Can the compartments be sized for our own products?

Yes. Send one physical set or exact dimensions of the items going inside — bottles, jars, tubes or vouchers — and we build the tray layout around them. A fitted insert stops products rattling or crushing in transit, which is the most common complaint we hear about generic corporate calendars.
