All ranges are indicative. Send your dieline or a reference case for a binding quote.
Four factors, in order: structure complexity, board and materials, finishing, then quantity. A drawer cabinet costs more than a book-style box because of assembly labour, not board. One foil accent adds little; full-coverage foil or shaped tooling adds a lot. Send a reference case and we rank the drivers for your design.
Because almost nothing is standard: dimensions, compartment count, board thickness and finishing change with every brief, and each change moves tooling and labour. A fixed list would price the average box, not yours. Instead we quote per reference case within one business day, with tooling and unit cost shown separately.
Three things: a reference case number or your dieline, the quantity per design, and the finishing you want — foil, embossing, lamination or plain print. Product dimensions help us size compartments correctly. With those, the quote separates tooling, unit price and sampling, so you can compare structures on equal terms.
Book-style and flip-door boxes are cheapest at this volume because tooling is low and assembly is fast. Drawer cabinets need higher quantities to spread their assembly labour, and shaped or pop-up boxes carry the highest tooling. If budget is tight at 500 units, start with a book-style structure and one foil accent.
More than most buyers expect. Assembled rigid calendars ship a lot of air, so structures designed to ship flat or nested can cut freight volume sharply. Compare quotes on landed cost — unit price plus freight to your warehouse — not unit price alone. Ask for the shipping format of every structure you compare.
Cut where customers cannot feel it: simplify the internal tray, reduce board thickness on non-structural panels, and limit foil to the logo and one accent. Keep the outer wrap, lamination and closure at full quality — those carry the premium impression. We will tell you honestly which savings would show and which would not.
Send a reference case number (e.g. lux-014), your quantities and timeline — we'll reply with a sampling plan and MOQ pricing within one business day.
